Journalistic Writing Assignment
by Jessie V. Ragland
ENGL 336.001

In Journalistic Writing today, Mr. Andy Duncan asked the students to branch out to the FSU community and ask two specific questions: What do you think of the Occupy Wall Street Movement?; and What are your chances of surviving a Zombie attack? I interviewed three people for this assignment. Faith Ayeni, a nursing major said she doesn't really know about the Occupy Wall Street Movement so she doesn't really have an opinion and she hesitantly stated she has a 50/50 chance of surviving a zombie attack. Charles Courtney, a library staff working at FSU stated that he thinks that the Occupy Wall Street Movement is not a waste of time, but they need to get organized because he feels that they are "protesting too many different things and they shiould stick with one purpose". As for the zombie attack he said his chances of survival are very good since he likes to read about things of that nature. The last person to interview was Keith Schlegel, an English professor at FSU. He stated "I fully support the Occupy Wall Street Movement. I love it. It's long overdue. Finally, a reaction to the plutocracy we are living in". He felt very strong about his chances for survival from a zombie attack. "I know how to defenc myself. You gotta shoot them in the head though. Get a brain shot. Waste of time shooting off their arms or legs."
