Sabrina is Stone Cold

Sabrina Stone is a junior psychology major from Baltimore, Maryland. This is her first semester here at Frostburg State University. She previously went to the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). She grew up in the Baltimore area and interestingly "lived in the same house" for her entire life (until attending college). Sabrina skipped the first grade so she is one year younger than every other conventional college junior. She went to Eastern Tech High School, where she played soccer, softball, and hockey. In addition to her extra curricular activities, she also majored in business management. Sabrina also has a younger brother who goes to the same high school she went to.When asked about why she didn't major in business management she stated "I hated it". She said that her mother influenced her to major in it during high school.

As mentioned before, Sabrina is now a psychology major at Frostburg State University. She chose that major because she is very passionate about children. Because of her passion for children, she is considering going into child counseling. For a while, she entertained the thought of majoring in nursing, but stated that she did not like the biology aspect of that major. In addition to not liking the biology aspect of nursing, she said that she is more of a people person, and you get more interaction out of counseling than nursing. As of right now, Sabrina isn't involved with activities on campus being that she is a new student and she wants to get used to her surroundings. However, she is interested in joining some organizations later on, especially organizations that focus on volunteering.

After finishing her undergraduate studies, Sabrina wishes to move to Florida where she will go to graduate school. She is not exactly sure what school in Florida she wants to attend but said "it's too cold to go to any school around here". If Sabrina wasn't a psychology major, she said that she would probably major in parks and recreations. One would understand her choice from the multiple sports she played in high school.
