Sounds Like "Lindsey"

Sounds Like "Lindsey"

English 336-001 Journalistic Writing

Linzi Sisler was born April 19 in Garrett County. Sisler is one of 9 siblings, with 3 full siblings, 2 half siblings, and 3 step siblings. While growing up, she has always had an interest in English and journalism, and in the future, she hopes to work for the National Geographic Traveler Magazine.

Sisler is a junior, at Frostburg University, majoring in English and minoring in Journalism. After entering FSU, Sisler decided to make Frostburg her permanent residence. Frostburg was her choice for education, because she did not want to go to community college. If she had not chose Frostburg, then Sisler would have chosen Garrett College. While residing in Frostburg she has found employment, at the local Food Lion, located in Frostburg, Maryland. Laughing, Sisler states, “The Frostburg locals seem to be quite interesting,” when asked how she liked her job. Aside from her job, Sisler also enjoys some on campus activities.

She is a part of a sorority, AST, which is on campus. “It can be drama, but I try to avoid drama as much as I can,” states Sisler, with a very serious friends. Sisler appreciates her sorority sisters very much. She states, “It’s nice to have that group of girls that I can go to at any time, and they’ll have my back.” You may remember Evan Kullberg, who died in a fire, last school year at FSU. Evan and Sisler were previously in a relationship for one year in high school, and remained friends on and off, even after they departed from one another. Sisler’s sorority sisters really helped her cope with Kullberg’s death, and for that she is very grateful.

Aside from school, and work, Sisler is quite the unique human being. Surprisingly, she enjoys cliff diving but is very much afraid of heights. She enjoys snowboarding, and would love to travel the world someday. If she could live anywhere in the world, it would be California. Sisler enjoys singing, and has participated in 7 years of choir, and 8 years of honors choir. Her favorite music genre is probably blues, but she really enjoys listening to Kanye West. Linzi Sisler is quite the character, who shared wonderful information during her interview.
