Voting Day Math: Division in the Math Department

It's election day in America, and all around the country, from Oakland, California to right here in Frostburg, people are out voting. Neither candidate seems to have a clear lead in the polls, with several key states still hanging in the balance, while many still question whether Romney has a clear cut plan, or whether Obama's will continue to supposedly ruin the country. It's understandable given the president's record over the past 4 years hasn't been the greatest, and it seems that it has given his opponent the edge he needs to be a serious competitor.
Our own Frostburg State University math deartment is more or less divided 2-to-1 in favor of Mitt Romney, though some still believe in Obama. Dr. Frank Barnet rang in saying that he will vote for Mitt because "Obama has not kept up with his promises, and they've come back to haunt him". Dr. Lance Revennaugh agreed, saying simply that "Obama has not done a good job" costing him another vote.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the ballot, Dr. Karen Parks stands alone against Romney in the math department. When asked who she was voting for, she said Obama. When asked why she said "I don't believe Mitt Romney has a plan."
