The Question on Question 7

One of the questions attached to the presidential ballot has gotten a lot of publicity and notification: Question 7. Question 7 is the idea that Maryland should build a casino to keep “Maryland Money” in Maryland, rather than the casinos of other states, such as West Virginia. “I’m for it, because there will be more jobs.” Says Mass Comm. Major, Shavorn Patterson. The main idea is that the new casino would allow for several new jobs at the casino, employing several of those who are unemployed. “I feel that exploiting a gambling addiction might be an issue, but as long as the money stays in Maryland, I’m for it.” Says Frostburg State University student Bianca Shields. There have been many concerns with the casino as of matters such as gambling addictions, or the crime that could arise within the casino with theft. All of these things are to be a package deal with Question 7, and it’s only a matter of time before there is an Answer 7.
