Jasmine Bullock, executive board members of PP Models, struts down the runway.

For Christmas this year, Paparazzi Perfect Models gave the entire student body a gift, a fashion show! On December 4, 2011 students gathered in the Lane Center Armah to see Paparazzi Perfect’s pre-show. The show was called “All I Want for Christmas is to Pump” and previewed some of the models that would be featured in their big production held in April. This is the first time Paparazzi Perfect Models has ever put on a pre-show. Under the direction on Lashawn Banks, the modeling team put on one heck of a show! The show contained for individual scenes, each with their own Christmas theme. The show’s opening scene began with seven models letting the audience know exactly what they wanted for Christmas, leading to the revealing of all the models. In the second scene, the ladies became toys, with their master setting them up to look perfect under the Christmas tree. The funniest part of the show surprisingly came during the intermission. Aspiring Paparazzi Models took to the runway and strutted their stuff, while some people simply mocked the typical model walk. The third scene of the show was accompanied by a runway battle. In the scene, conveniently titled ‘Santa vs. The Grinch’, two different squads battled against each other with different modeling choreography. Of course Santa’s squad won, but it wouldn’t be Christmas the other way around. The executive board member also had their time to shine. The last scene in the show was dedicated to the board members. With the three ladies in all white, and the gentleman in a tie and dress slacks, they strutted their stuff and proved exactly why they were the leaders of the modeling group. Audience members screamed and cheered as the models took their final walk, many of them anticipating the show for next semester. The models’ confidence could be seen from a mile away.  Definitely a step up from previous years; very unexpected,” says Jason Baccus. Another spectator, Jasmine Alston, also left the show pleasantly surprised. "The models were definitely much better than last year; the show was great," she says. Along with sexy models, the show featured lots of twists, lots of turns, and lots of pumping! Paparazzi definitely made a great first impression on the campus and proved that they are tough modeling competition.
