Homecoming is all around us at FSU

In this photo, the new Frostburg State University 2012 Homecoming Queen and King are being crowned and sharing a congratulatory hug at the pep rally in the ARMAH in Lane Center at FSU. The Queen is senior Amanda Wallace, an Early Childhood Education major and member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. Representing King is senior Eric Paul, who is a member of the Phi Mu Delta fraternity. Congratulations to both of them!

Outside of Compton Science Center, a rather unusual occurrence could be spotted. A group of students were found engaging in a fast-paced game of...wait for it...Quidditch! Yes, Harry Potter fans, it's true! This photo represents just one of the many games played this past Wednesday evening at the event sponsored by the University Programming Council. Some of the students shown in this photo are Jessie Wismer (far left), who is a Mass Communication major and member of UPC, Adam Harbaugh (Green Shirt), a new transfer to FSU and a junior Political Science major, Rick Limpert (Orange Shirt), a sophopmore Computer Science major, and junior Larry Shockley (far right).

This photo perfectly represents caring relationship between mentors and mentees at Frostburg State University. Senior Keith Davidson, a chemistry student, and Sharita Sivels, a graduate student at FSU, take a close look at Davidson's homemade sculpture. Davidson, the editor-on-chief for The Bottom Line, made a unique sculpture entirely out of recycled materials. Sivels, who has taken on a supervising role for Student Alumni Ambassadors, has grown close to Keith this year, who is a member of the organization.
