At a Glance

What does the average Frostburg State University student see in the years leading up to graduation? If we cut out the hours upon hours of staring a books, computers, and occasionally the inside of eyelids, we are left with a very meaningful glimpse of college life. Here are just a few of the images that illustrate student life at FSU.

Shown left, is Sheldon Jackson, a junior law and society major from Laurel, Maryland, as he takes a moment to relax and listen to music before his American Correctional Systems class.

Pictured above is Laura Fehle, senior music education major from Westminster, Maryland. Laura pauses for a camera shot as she makes her way around the track during one of Frostburg's Relay for Life events.

This last picture is of Don Swogger, professor at FSU and advisor of the BURG Peer Education Network. It's hard to say exactly what Don is contemplating, but it could be his IDIS class, which looks at ways to promote a healthy campus.

Friends, peers, activists, and teachers. These are just a few of the many wonderful things that a student is likely to see at Frostburg State University.
