Three Wall Street mainstays to be dropped from Dow Jones listing
The stock market is experiencing one of its biggest jumbles in recent memory, after it was reported this morning by the Wall Street Journal that three businesses were being dropped out of the Dow Jones Industrial Average next week. Alcoa Inc., an global aluminum producer, and a 54-year vet of the famous economic listing, will be replaced by athletic wear giant Nike Inc., computer giant Hewlett-Packard Co. will be replaced by credit card pioneer Visa Inc., and banking corporation Bank of America will be replaced by the infamous securities fim Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
