Morgan Hoover (left) and Maurice Adams (right), both juniors in the parks and recreation program, hand out flyers for the grand opening of the new rock climbing wall at Frostburg State University. "Accept the challenge and join us for a fun afternoon," stated Adams. The opening will be held on November 13th, at the Cordts Center, and will be attended by FSU's President, Dr. Gibralter, along with other students and staff members of the Parks and Recreation Department.
Celebrating the sorority's 111th anniversary, the sisters of Delta Zeta spend their founders day fundraising for their philanthropy. The girls offered baked goods and hot apple cider and will be donating all of the proceeds of the fundraiser to The Painted Turtle Organization. "It's a camp-based organization that helps children suffering from medical conditions, by giving them a chance play, interact, and have fun," states active Zeta member Courteney Navarini, "It's a cool program because they have camps for these kids like every week throughout the year."
President Prince Aguzi of the "National Society of Black Engineers" was joined by fellow members of the organization, trying to raise money for a trip to their regional conference. Aguzi (top picture: second in from the right) is a senior at FSU and a computer science major. His fundraiser offered drinks and baked goods to raise as much money as possible for their conference trip to Tennessee.
