Getting Rid of our Garbage
Chandler Strup's presentation, "Where does the trash go?", which was presented at focus frostburg in the lane center here at FSU. Strups main argument was that we as humans take fr granted the time and energy it requires to get rid of the waste we create. His arguments were best illustrated with quotes such as, "most of our recycled material is in fact paper". He also stated that, "we would be amazed at what big differences can be brought about with minimal effort". He was also said that, "this city alone generates more trash than you've ever seen at one time." Chandler was very passionate in the way he spoke. He also brought up very interesting statistics about how much trash we actually produce, which would make anyone think twice.
